This simple holiday home has a typically atmospheric and Ardennes feel. The accommodation is located in the flowery village of Awenne (Saint-Hubert), on a promontory between Ri Bellerose (to the south) and Lincon (to the north) and two tributaries of the Lhomme. The area has everything for a great holiday and it is a beautiful part of the Belgian Ardennes! Awenne is located between Rochefort and Bastogne, two towns that are definitely worth a visit. From the holiday cottage you can take various trips or just relax in or near the house. Suitable for 15 persons.

The accommodation features a spacious living room with ample seating, a fireplace, TV and a dining room. The kitchen is equipped with all facilities such as an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and a dishwasher. On the ground floor there is also a washing machine, dryer and a bathroom with shower and sink. On the first floor are the first 4 bedrooms plus a bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and bath. On the floor above are the remaining 2 bedrooms and another bathroom with toilet, sink, bath and shower. In the green area of the garden you can socialise and use the furniture and a BBQ.

This area is ideal for wonderful walks and hikes. Visit the great Saint-Hubert Forest and you might spot some wildlife during a hike. This region is known for its rich natural heritage and is a great way to discover all the beauty of the Belgian Ardennes. For those who love a unique experience, the National Gliding Centre is a great activity. Dare to take a test flight together with an experienced pilot? As soon as you take your seat in the cockpit, the glider is attached to a sports plane with a cable. This takes you high into the air and then releases the cable, allowing the glider to continue flying under its own power. Just a 15-minute drive from the accommodation is Rochefort Castle which has been a tourist and archaeological site since the mid-1980s. Some of the objects found on the site can be viewed in the castle's museum. Also a short 15-minute drive away is the Cave of Han, at the heart of Belgium's first UNESCO Global Geopark. A unique experience and the chance to discover unforgettable treasures of nature. Be enchanted by the magic of the cave and traverse immense halls, galleries, secret passages richly decorated with unseen stalactites. Some 110 metres underground is the immense Hall of Arms, where you can dream away at an impressive underground sound and light show. A fun activity for young and old alike!
