Group accommodation Kamerik (KAM-709)

These unique buildings give you an opportunity to spend the night between the meadows. These nostalgic 'Veldhuysjes', or field houses, stand on wheels in a large circle. This 'village' can accommodate up to 64 people (16 field houses). Each wagon has 4 single beds. The wagon also offers the necessary comfort, such as great beds, a storage cabinet, a table, and a small kitchen block (no running water). There is a fire pit outside, where your group can sit around in a large circle. The shared space is located in a pavilion tent. The kitchen facilities are also housed here.

A unique way of staying overnight

The sanitary building with 6 showers and 4 toilets is centrally located on the site. The two pavilion tents are furnished with teak benches and cushions, and are heated with a robust Danish wood stove and infrared heat lamps. Large baskets full of wood provide you with enough material to keep the stove burning. French doors allow you access to the wooden terrace from which you have a view over the water and the meadows of the Green Heart. The pavilion tent has a simple kitchen design and a refrigerator, which gives you an option for self-catering. If you do not feel like doing that though, then you can come visit our atmospheric restaurant, which is literally a stone's throw from this group accommodation. The restaurant is open all year round.

A sporty vacation during your weekend trip to Utrecht

You can rent canoes on our site, and 3 canoes are always included (see sports and games material rental), and there are plenty of options for other sports and games. How about a game of canoe polo; a field with floating targets has been set up on the water. You play the sport from your unsteady canoes, and you have to create speed, pass the ball, and score. If you want something more relaxing, you can get acquainted with golf at the Pitch-and-Putt course. There is also a beach volleyball court. For young children, there is a petting zoo with play facilities, and a toddler pool.
