Group accommodation Staphorst (SPH-982)

This barn is suitable for families, friends, meetings, and trainings. You are most welcome with a maximum of 16 people. The barn is located in the yard of a farm that is still fully operational. The accommodation has a wood-burning stove in the living room. There is a multifunctional room with a view of the cows that you can rent for a meeting or workshop. Near Giethoorn, Wieden and Weerribben.

The accommodation has a spacious, fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. A living room with sitting corner, wood stove, and 2 large tables for a total of 16 people. The barn is wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet on the first floor, 2 double rooms and a 4 person room. These rooms have a bathroom with a walk-in shower. In the “Hooizolder”, there is a spacious 4 person room with a private sitting area, shower, and toilet. The “Huusie” (separate building) has 2 double rooms with private sitting room, shower, and toilet. The bedrooms are all equipped with box spring beds and TV. There is a camp bed and highchair available. Outside, there are several terraces with garden furniture, a covered terrace, fire place, and playing field. For children there are pedal cars, scooters, and a hay hut to play with. The family bike “Truus” (14 adults and 2 children) guarantees a lot of fun and it can be used to explore during a part of the day. Get the Farmers’ Diploma with the group led by Farmer Wout, a great experience for the children.

A combination of forests, a winding river de Reest, and many varied routes makes the forest of Staphorst an ideal place for hiking. Furthermore, the nature reserves ‘De Wieden’ and ‘De Weerribben’ are only a short distance away. The upper part of Overijssel is known for its vast quantities of water, where you can hike, cycle, or sail. Giethoorn, the Venice of the north, is within cycling distance of our farm.
