Holiday farm Balkbrug (BLK-2496)

On the border of Overijssel and Drenthe is this spacious holiday farm for groups of up to 56 people. The accommodation is simply furnished, but offers everything you need for a cozy group stay. Thanks to the many facilities, the green surroundings and the large outdoor area, this is an ideal place for families, groups of friends, schools or sports teams who want to enjoy an active stay together in nature.

In the former farmhouse there is a cozy common room with a large bar, spacious dining area and sitting area where you can get together with the whole group. The kitchen is practically furnished and equipped with a large 6-burner gas stove, a fryer and an industrial dishwasher. This makes cooking for larger groups easy and comfortable.

The property features eight dormitories of varying sizes, furnished with bunk beds. Due to the variation in rooms, the group can easily be divided over the different dormitories. There is also plenty of room outside to be active together. On the site you will find football goals, a sports field, a trampoline and swings. In addition, there is an outdoor swimming pool for guests' use. The swimming pool is shared with other guests and is open from April to September.

The holiday farm is located in the beautiful Reestdal, a small-scale landscape with hay meadows, fields, heaths, forests and characteristic farms. The state forests of Staphorst are also nearby. This makes the area perfect for walking, cycling and discovering nature.
