Group accommodation Ruurlo (RUU-706)

Cozy away with family to a nice house in the Achterhoek? This group accommodation in Ruurlo can accommodate a group of up to 12 people (possibly with two babies/toddlers). You will then stay in two adjacent holiday homes. The group accommodation is located on a small-scale campsite with various accommodations. This is located 2 km from the cozy village of Ruurlo with various amenities. The Achterhoek is an area characterized by forests, meadows, castles and beautiful farms. 

A comfortable stay in Gelderland with many play facilities

You will stay in two adjacent holiday homes, please note there is no door connecting the houses. However, there is a shared terrace for these two houses, so you can easily walk back and forth. In one house there is a spacious dining area where you can eat with the whole group, in this house there are also enough pans and crockery for the whole group. The entire group accommodation is tiled. Each holiday home has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. Each holiday home has its own terrace. In front of the house is a lawn with a number of playground equipment.

Children can have fun at the animal meadow, on go-karts and bicycles, at the playground equipment or in the covered play corner. The 'Schoppe' is a farmhouse that we have converted into our reception, but also furnished as a cozy (shared) living room. Here you can sit down to have a drink, chat, play a game. During the hot summer days it is nice and cool here, when it is a bit cooler outside, we turn on a pellet stove here. This space is also suitable for our other guests. There is also a small campsite in the yard. In the winter period (early November to late March) this space is exclusively for you, as the campsite is closed then.

Ruurlo is an attractive village with nice shops and restaurants, located in the heart of the Achterhoek. You can enjoy hiking, cycling or mountain biking through the varied bocage landscape. Visit Ruurlo Castle, the largest maze in Europe, the climbing forest or the mysterious Witte Wieven in Zwiep. In case of bad weather, there are museums such as museum MORE in the castle, The Fire Brigade Museum, the Crystal Museum and the CactusOasis. For water fun, there is an outdoor swimming pool with the largest double competition slide in the Netherlands and several indoor swimming pools nearby. Sports enthusiasts can go scootering, canoeing, play farmer's golf or follow a survival route. In the area are charming towns and villages such as Zutphen, Doesburg, Lochem and Vorden.
