The holiday home has a nostalgic look due to the trusses that are present. Cosy seating areas have been created and there is a large dining table to enjoy a nice meal together or play a game. Whether you just want to watch your favourite TV programme or have a cosy chat by the fireplace, the seating areas can be adjusted to accommodate it all. The kitchen is richly equipped with appliances and cooking utensils. Ideal for cooking together or for a workshop. And in the morning, just go to the German bakery to get delicious fresh German bread for a nice breakfast to start the day. The upstairs bedrooms are cosy thanks to the trusses and chequered curtains and can be closed with sliding doors. One of the bedrooms on the ground floor is suitable for the disabled and has an adjoining adapted bathroom. The comfortable furnishings immediately make you feel at home. From the living room, you step out onto the terrace, either covered or open-air. The children can play on the playground or large trampoline.

Discover together the Achterhoek 

In the scenic landscape of the Achterhoek lies this spacious holiday home. In the outskirts of Aalten, on the edge of the Winterswijk hamlets and 300 metres from the German border. From here you can start a beautiful walking or cycling tour in the area. E.g. by bike to Aalten to visit the National Museum of the Secret Annexe, interesting for young and old. Or take a guided walk through the picturesque and historic town of Bredevoort with a visit to the town brewery. On warm days, you can have a good time at recreation area De Slingeplas near Bredevoort. For less beautiful days, there is a tropical swimming paradise in the nearby German town of Bocholt. Furthermore, De Achterhoek is of course known for its estates, castles, modern museums and fun attractions such as a climbing forest, adventure parks and rides (kids’ happiness in De Achterhoek) In short, you will not be bored.

This accommodation will not be rented to youth groups, football teams, student groups or other noisy groups consisting exclusively of persons between 18 and 30 years of age. (between 30-35 years on request)
