This characteristic mansion has been completely renovated into a modern and comfortable group accommodation for up to 35 people. The combination of historic appearance and contemporary amenities makes this a great place for family reunions, school camps and company outings. The accommodation is located near the recreational lake De Fluessen, the largest lake in Friesland, and is therefore an ideal base for a versatile group stay.

The accommodation has 8 sleeping quarters, divided into double and multi-bed rooms. The double rooms have single beds, the other rooms have bunk beds. In consultation, 2 bedrooms with private bathroom on the ground floor can be booked.

The spacious kitchen is well equipped and suitable for self-catering. Prefer to be unburdened? Then it is possible to have the catering fully taken care of. In the recreation room you will find a cozy bar with audio system and TV, a sitting area with various games and a table tennis table. Outside is a terrace with garden furniture and opposite the accommodation is a lawn with plenty of space for sports and games.

The village of Elahuizen is located in the middle of the Frisian lake district and is known for its excellent water sports facilities. Sailing, supping or boating is possible here, possibly under the guidance of qualified instructors. In addition, the rural surroundings invite you to walk and cycle along characteristic villages, vast meadows and forests. This way you combine relaxation, activity and fun during your stay in Friesland.

"De locatie is iets verouderd , gezellig , goed contact verhuurder "

We hebben een super weekend gehad . Locatie is iets verouderd maar alles is schoon en je hebt alles bij de hand . De tuin is niet afgezet en zit aan de straat kant maar was voor ons geen probleem. Binnen ruimte is zeer ruim ook hier alles schoon. Top voor een familie weekend . Contant met verhuurder gaat super . Altijd bereikbaar !!

Als groep met diverse gezinnen hebben wij geen vermaak nodig gehad, dat regelden we zelf. We misten wel een tuin of terras om buiten te zitten. De accommodatie zelf is erg ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien echter wel slecht geïsoleerd en daarmee erg klam en benauwd ‘s avonds en ‘ s nachts. Met warme zomeravonden is het vast heel erg warm en er zaten geen horren voor de ramen. Gezien de eisen voor het achterlaten van de accommodatie is 140,- schoonmaakkosten wel aan de hoge kant, zo was ook het bedlinnen best prijzig (15 euro pp) Al met al hebben we uiteindelijk een prima verblijf gehad…

We were a big group of 20+ adults and children. The owner was extremely helpful before, during and after the stay. Everything went smoothly during our stay and the owner was very laid back. However the whole house had a musty smell which is probably due to the age of the it. Also only small windows for the big dorm rooms. The rooms were spacious but also very old and smelly. The pillows provided were extremely old looking and smelled of damp.. So much that the bed linen we brought actually stank too! We were lucky that the weather was amazing so we barely spent any time inside but it would have been different if it just rained and we had to stay indoors. Unfortunately the garden points to the street which is not ideal if you are looking for privacy.

Mooie locatie en perfecte ligging voor watersport activiteit. Hebben hier een dag heerlijk gezeild met valken die de beheerder verhuurt. Iets minder is dat er beperkte ruimte voor het is om buiten te staan (bv BBQ). Zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije beheerder. We hebben een top weekend gehad.
