This group accommodation in Friesland is located in the rear, renovated part of the farm. The farm is no longer a farm, but it still has animals such as horses, ponies, goats, chickens and rabbits. There is room for a maximum of 22 guests and a minimum of 5 guests. It is a non-smoking residence and great for families and friends. It is not suitable for wheelchair users.
A holiday home in Friesland with large enclosed terrace
On the ground floor is the living area (with gas fireplace) which is furnished with a sitting area with TV and DVD player. The dining area consists of a large dining area. Here is a cupboard with radio and CD player and is equipped with books, magazines and board games. There is an open plan kitchen with a dining area. In the hall is another large jumbo fridge. To catch up you can sit at the bar table with your family or friends. There are 7 bedrooms in the group accommodation (see bedroom layout). You may use (in consultation) the extra recreation room where there is a pool table and other games. Outside is a large, enclosed terrace, with a canopy, equipped with terrace tables and chairs and a barbecue. For the small children there are play equipment on the terrace. At the back of the site is a large playing field with a trampoline, sandbox and swings and there is room to play volleyball, football, etc. Outside is a boules court and another fishing pond. Horse riding is also possible (by appointment).
A day out in the woods
together The group accommodation is located opposite a nature reserve with forest, heathland and sand drifts, near the three provinces point of Drenthe, Friesland and Groningen. The area has many opportunities for cyclists and hikers. The centre of Bakkeveen is 2 km away. This is a tourist green village, it has restaurants, a supermarket, swimming pool, bicycle rental, miniature golf, watchtower, flea markets and fairs. There are plenty of opportunities for group activities, museums and catering.
