Directly behind the Kuinderbos are the nature reserves of the Weerribben and the Rottige Meenthe, two swamp areas. The location of the holiday park offers ample opportunity to make various tourist trips. A visit to one of the old Zuiderzee villages such as Lemmer, Blokzijl, Vollenhove and Urk is definitely worth it. The Frisian lakes and forests of Gaasterland are also close by. The park is ideal for canoeing, fishing and go-karting.
