Ideal Family stay in Drenthe with lots of fun for children🏡

This group accommodation is highly recommended for family and groups of friends with children. Behind the group accommodation is a small family campsite with many play facilities for children. The children can use the playground with go-karts, trampoline and a cable car. There is also a recreation room with many games. Horses and ponies are eager to be cuddled or brushed by you or the children. In consultation, the horses and ponies may also be ridden. A pony ride for the sulky or a ride on the horse tram is also possible. Truly a paradise for children and an oasis for adults. The accommodation has 13 beds, 2 children's beds and 2 baby cots and can accommodate max. 15 people (including children). There is a modern kitchen with dining area and the living area also has a sitting area and again a dining area. From the kitchen and living area direct access to a large enclosed garden with sun terrace. On the ground floor is a bedroom and a bathroom with walk-in shower and a bath. There is also a toilet room with a toilet and urinal. On the upper floor are four bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

Southwest Drenthe has very good facilities for the visitor. Consider, for example, the extensive cycling and hiking trail network. But this region is more than just nature. The many monumental buildings in Ruinen and the surrounding villages and hamlets are reminders of a fascinating history. Go past the Ruiner sheepfold, Every day the sheep go from the pen onto the Dwingelo heath and return to the pen in large numbers at the end of the afternoon. This spectacle is great fun for young and old to see. There are several nice restaurants in Ruinen itself. Whether you like Dutch, Italian or Chinese cuisine, Ruinen is a good place to be.
