Group accommodation Midlaren (MDL-1410)

Located at (and partially above) the Zuidlaarder lake. The accommodation offers space to a maximum of 40 people and has 10 bedrooms. The building has a spacious recreation hall with large windows and folding doors to the patio, which give you the ultimate feeling of "living on the waterside". During warm days you can take a set on the patio which stretches above the water. It's a perfect location for water sports enthusiasts, families, nature lovers and other (active) groups.

The large recreation hall with seating area and five large dining tables also has a TV (satellite dish), sound system, and two adjacent toilets. The spacious, modern (semi open) kitchen has many amenities. The separate washing kitchen has a dishwasher. The private patio on the water offers enough seating space for the group and next to the building there's a large recreational field (public access). Each bedroom has two bunk beds (with duvets and pillows, linen upon request), private shower and toilet. The accommodation is located on the edge of a bungalow park with a lot of wetlands, which has, among other things, a restaurant, bar, tennis courts, midget golf, playgrounds, party boats and a camping. It's also possible to book sailing and surfing classes at the sailing school, or to rent boats (sailing and motor boats, canoes, surfboards, pedalos, etc.).

The Zuidlaarder lake is, apart from a calm water sports area, also a lake with exceptional nature. The large body of water with unique views, large rush fields, vast "polders", and forests make this one of the most special areas in the Netherlands. With over 1100 kilometers of biking trails, 53 historical hunebeds, three national parks and the extensive opportunities for water sports, Drenthe has something for everyone. Opposite the holiday park are the Noordlaarder forests which are great for hiking, and apart from all the beautiful nature, Groningen is just 15 km away for some culture and city entertainment. Your accommodation can of course also be a base for excursions to for example Zuidlaren, Noordlaren, Assen or Groningen.
