Day trips to Bruges, Ostend, Ypres, Veurne, and Northern France (Dunkirk and Bergues). They are all within easy reach of Groot Noordhof. There is also an option to reserve bicycles in advance.
The history of the Groot Noordhof farm estate dates back to the 17th century during the reclamation of polders. The Austrian Ferraris map (1771-1778) mentions the estate as Groet Noorthuys. Evidence of this can be seen in the numerous moefen – the typical bricks from that period - found in the exterior walls.
