Staying near a castle in a wooded area is now possible; The original coach house, which originally housed the horse stables and the coach garages, was completely converted into a beautiful multipurpose room and sleeping accommodation for 62 people. It is an ideal accommodation for large families and/or groups of friends who like to stay close to a big city (Antwerp), but also like to be in a green environment.

Group accommodation near Antwerp and yet in the green

The accommodation is ideal for a weekend away with your family-sports-school or culture group. On the ground floor there is a large multipurpose room with room for 100 people (seated) and 150 people (standing). There are a total of 62 beds spread over 6 bedrooms and 8 showers and 8 toilets in total. On the ground floor is the disabled room with adapted sanitary facilities. The accommodation also has a professional kitchen with the latest gadgets. Unfortunately, this kitchen cannot be rented, but is used to provide guests with delicious meals (half board or full board at an additional cost). The accommodation cannot be booked without half board. The site is surrounded by a large private play area. Between the castle and the coach house, which extends in front of the castle, is a large playground. There is also a private forest, where you can enjoy nature and where children can play in a green environment. The forest can and may be used to play in, but with respect for nature.

Enjoy the green surroundings and discover the cultural sights

The accommodation is the ideal base for a variety of sporting and cultural trips. For active guests, the Rivierenhof Provincial Green Domain is a nice trip. There is a lot to do here, from a petting zoo to various sports squares or just to enjoy a magically beautiful piece of nature. Near the Green Domain is also the Park Groot Schijn; People meet here every day to exercise together, to discover the beautiful nature or just to relax. The center of Antwerp is about 7 km (15 min. by tram) and so is the Cathedral of Our Lady. The Antwerp bishop's church displays a treasure trove of paintings, sculptures and other works of art. Here you can see different phases of history, from neo-Gothic chapels to baroque altarpieces. Within a radius of 7 km you will also find a number of other historic buildings, museums and cultural houses such as the Diamond Museum, the Rubens House, Museum aan de Stroom and the Stadsschouwburg.
