The 8 cozy Veldhuysjes each offer space for 4 people and have 4 single beds. In addition, in each house you will find a storage cupboard, a table, a small kitchen unit without running water and 4 sockets. This way everyone has their own place to sleep, while the joint group life mainly takes place around the pavilion tent and outside. The Veldhuysjes do not have their own sanitary facilities. In the center of the site is a sanitary building with 6 showers and 4 toilets. This sanitary building is shared with other guests on the site.
The communal pavilion tent is the central meeting point of the accommodation. Here are teak benches with cushions and thanks to the robust Danish wood stove and infrared heat lamps you can also sit together on cooler days. The wood for the stove is ready in large baskets; The group keeps the stove burning itself. In the pavilion tent you will also find a simple kitchen with a refrigerator, so you can prepare your own meals. Prefer not to cook? A stone's throw away is a restaurant where you can go all year round. Through the patio doors you can step onto the wooden terrace, with a view over the water and the vast meadows of the Green Heart. Outside is a fire pit around which you can sit with the group in a large circle. A nice place to end the day together.

There is plenty to do on and around the site. Canoes are available for rent and 3 canoes are included as standard in the stay. In addition, there are various sports and games options, including a beach volleyball court. Those who prefer to hit a ball can go to the Pitch & Putt course. For young children there is a petting zoo, play facilities and a toddler pool.
There is also plenty to discover outside the site. From Kamerik you can enjoy walking and cycling through the rural polder landscape with meadows, ditches and characteristic farms. For a trip, Woerden is nearby, with a cozy historic center and several terraces. Castle de Haar near Haarzuilens is also worth a visit. Prefer a day trip to the city?
