This special group accommodation is located between the vast meadows, forests and heaths of Rijssen, in the middle of the unique landscape on the edge of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. Here you experience silence as you rarely find it anymore. The yard borders directly on a protected bird area, where nature determines the rhythm and where bird lovers can indulge themselves. From the site you can walk straight into nature and with a bit of luck you will spot deer, hares and numerous bird species early in the morning.

The accommodation consists of four sustainable nature houses under the roof of a former cattle shed and an adjacent attractive guest house. Together there is room for 20 people. The nature houses are stylishly furnished and each has a comfortable double bed and a private bathroom. In the group accommodation there are three bedrooms, partly with loft, all with private sanitary facilities. The shared living room is warm and inviting and the large kitchen is the heart of the stay, perfect for cooking together and spending long evenings. Outside you can enjoy the long table in the communal outdoor area under the canopy. Unique is the private bird hide on the site, from where you can look out over the bird area undisturbed and observe special species in peace.

From the yard you can cycle or walk directly into nature. The nearby Sallandse Heuvelrug is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands, with rolling heaths, quiet forests and wide views. This area is not only popular with hikers and cyclists, but also with birdwatchers thanks to the wide variety of bird species. In the area you will also find charming villages, local shops and local vineyards. With children, trips to Hellendoorn Adventure Park, play forests or nature experience trails are a great success.
