What makes this place extra special is the covered communal area at the rear of the houses. Here you come together at a long wooden table for a good conversation, board game or a home-cooked meal. You cook in the shared outdoor kitchen, where, while stirring the pan, you can still feel the scent of the forest around you. The wood-burning stove provides warmth on chilly days, while the canopy provides shelter without losing connection to the outside. Each accommodation is furnished with a lovely double bed, with a view of nature. You wake up to the sound of birds and look out over the surrounding fields. Each cottage has its own bathroom, so you can enjoy all the comfort and privacy. This place invites you to stay.

Heathland, hills and endless views

From your accommodation you can walk or cycle straight into the Twente landscape, with its rolling fields and quiet roads. A stone's throw away are several small nature reserves and the impressive Sallandse Heuvelrug, a vast area full of forests, hiking trails and open heathland. But there is also plenty to do outside of nature. For families and adventurers, there are fun days out to Adventure Park Hellendoorn, Theme Park Slagharen or Play Park Hoge Boekel. Several museums such as the Rijksmuseum Twente and Museumboerderij Erve Brooks are within easy reach. Wine lovers can pick grapes or visit the Hof van Twente Vineyard.
