Holidayhome Giethoorn (GIH-1926)

A special place in Giethoorn in the middle of nature, by reed beds and a lake separated from the rest of the world. Here it is slightly different: the accommodation is only accessible by boat. From a parking lot at an unloading quay you will be picked up by the owner with enough boats. This group accommodation is suitable for family and groups of friends, schools and associations. It has its own playground and boathouse and several jetties.

Group accommodation in Giethoorn on your own island with your own sailing punts

Here you have the accommodation all to yourself - ideal for enjoying together undisturbed! The house has 8 bedrooms, 4 of which are on the ground floor, and there is also a cozy dormitory for larger groups.

The accommodation has a professionally equipped kitchen where you can easily cook for the whole group. In the spacious recreation room with bar and comfortable sitting area, you can get together for a drink, a game or a pleasant evening. Behind the holiday home is a large playing field where there is plenty of space for sports or games. In front of the house you will find a beautiful lake where you can sail or punt to your heart's content with one of the 7 sailing punts that are ready for use. Moreover, the lake is only about 80 cm deep everywhere, which makes it extra accessible. And of course there is also free Wi-Fi available! There are no duvets provided, but pillows are provided. Pillowcases must be brought for this

The nature around the accommodation invites you to explore with a punter. Or sail to Giethoorn and discover the Venice of Overijssel with all its bridges and old peat houses. Visit a museum or gallery or relax on a terrace.

Next to Giethoorn is the beautiful Weerribben-Wieden National Park, one of the largest contiguous peat bogs in Europe. This nature reserve is perfect for long walks, bike rides or boat trips through reed beds, lakes and narrow waterways. Along the way you can spot countless birds and other animals.
