The villa is situated on a 'wheel' (a round lake) that was created by dike breaches in the 12th century. In 1250, Sint Maarten was still by the sea! Enjoy the view, but also the villa and the park with its facilities. There is a large outdoor swimming pool (open from May 1 to mid-September) and a playground with trampoline and cable car.

There are six spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms and a lovely lounge and dining table. The open kitchen has a large gas stove and sufficient cooling options for cold beer and white wine. And then the large terrace with two umbrellas of 4 by 4 meters and an outdoor dining table for 12 people! Sit outside in the lounge, BBQ on a sturdy ofyr and eat outside with a view of the wheel. Totally awesome!

The villa is located in Recreatiepark de Wielen, which is 6 km from the coast and 5 km from Schagen. The beach, the dunes, restaurants, cafes, a cinema and golf courses are just around the corner!

Ruime villa. Waar je met 12 man uitstekend kunt leven. Ruime tafel, stoelen etc. Een complete keuken, goede geluidsinstallatie en andere voorzieningen. Een uitstekende app met handleidingen en toeristisch trips
Het recreatiepark ligt wel redelijk ver van het strand. (6 KM) Fiets of auto is nodig om er te komen, maar het is dan ook de moeite waard. Geen overvolle stranden. Het was er gezellig druk tijdens de mooie pinksterdagen.
Het recreatiepark is kleinschalig, waardoor er direct een warme band is met de beheerders. Die goed bereikbaar zijn.
Kan het dan nergens beter? Tja... we zijn misschien kritisch, maar de schoonmaak kan beter. Een terras vol herfstachtige bladeren, een BBQ die niet echt proper was en in de kast een vettige schaal.
Ik wil niet negatief afsluiten. Het is een ideaal huis voor een verblijf met 12 personen, vooral om de binding met de je familie of groep weer eens goed aan te halen.

Wel duur, maar zeker genoten! Prachtig ingericht, goede sfeer. Bedden sliepen heerlijk. Alles tiptop verzorgd en keurig schoon. Hele fijne villa!
