Holiday villa Sint Maarten (SIM-2469)

The holiday villa is located on a 'wheel' (a round lake) that was created by dike breaches in the 12th century. In 1250, Sint Maarten was still by the sea! Enjoy the view, but also the villa and the park with its facilities. There is a large outdoor swimming pool (open from May 1 to mid-September) and a playground with trampoline and cable car.

There are six spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms and a lovely lounge and dining table. The open kitchen has a large gas stove and adequate cooling options for cold beer and white wine. And then the large terrace with two umbrellas of 4 by 4 meters and an outdoor dining table for 12 people! Sitting outside in the lounge, BBQing on a cool ofyr and eating outside with a view of the wheel. Absolutely amazing!

Outside, you can enjoy a spacious terrace with lounge set, sun loungers and a charcoal BBQ, surrounded by a fully fenced garden — safe for children and pets, who are welcome here. The park also has a heated outdoor swimming pool, playground with cable car and trampoline, jeu de boules court, sports field, bicycle rental and a cosy café-restaurant.

The park is located in the middle of one of the most beautiful regions of the Netherlands: the Kop van Noord-Holland. From Sint Maarten you can easily go into nature, with walking routes through the polders, along dikes and vast dunes towards the coast. The beach of Sint Maartenszee is only a few kilometers away — ideal for a brisk walk on the beach or a day of sun and sea. Cycling enthusiasts can set off directly from the park along tulip fields, cozy villages and the typical Dutch polder landscape. Cozy Schagen is a must for a day out: visit the famous West Frisian market, stroll through the center or visit the free Automuseum Schagen with its impressive collection of old-timers. In the immediate vicinity you will also find the Dirkshorn golf course at 3 km — park guests even enjoy a discount here. Animal lovers like to visit Hoenderdaell Zoo in Anna Paulowna or the tropical butterfly garden Vlindorado in Waarland. In short: whether you want to walk, cycle, enjoy culture or just do nothing by the water — the surroundings of Sint Maarten have more than enough to offer for every group.
