This accommodation is part of a typical Frisian farmhouse. It is located in Workum, close to the historic center. In July and August only available for weekly rentals. A maximum of 30 people can stay here. Ideal for families and groups of friends. On the farm there are all kinds of animals, and the owner kindly invites you to discover his cattle farm and its beautiful surroundings.
Milk the cows together
You will have a large day room with kitchen at your disposal in this Frisian farmhouse. There is also a smaller (heated dining room) and living room in the same style as this farmhouse. The bedrooms in the apartments are assigned and rented depending on the size of the group. One bedroom houses two people. There are two apartments for two people, one of which is fitted for spending the night on the ground floor in a living/bedroom. The other apartments are suited for four people. All apartments are furnished with their own kitchen, toilet, shower and TV. The large apartments each have two bedrooms. You will have a minimum amount of ten bedrooms available. In total there are 13 bedrooms in the apartments. Further extension of bedrooms is possible: on the first floor you will find three double bedrooms with their own sanitary facilities. For the children there is plenty of play equipment. You will stay on a farm where you can come into contact with many animals. The children can play in the straw and even help out in the stables with feeding the animals, milking and riding the tractor, for example. There are three go-karts and a real go-kart track!
Stay in one of the oldest towns during your weekend break in Friesland
The town of Workum lies in the southwest corner of Friesland and is one of the oldest towns in this province. Workum has plenty to offer for everybody: from Jopie Huisman to cozy terraces and from "gildebaren" to natural areas. A walk through the old town center is its own attraction; the many beautiful monuments and facades are lined up. But the nature around the town is also well worth visiting. Swimming, surfing on the IJsselmeer, only 1.5 kilometers away.
