An example: there is a room with 10 single beds including shower, toilet and sink; there is an apartment with two double beds and its own kitchen, sanitary facilities and terrace; Furthermore, several rooms with 4 person compartments or box beds, suitable for small groups. The common areas are spacious and multifunctional: a professional kitchen with dishwashing department, a dining room, bar, lounge and game room ensure that everyone can cook, eat and relax together. For larger groups, there is a permanent banquet hall or lounge with bar, with direct access to the 300 m² south-facing terrace.

Due to its location directly on the water, this is a top base for water sports and outdoor activities. Think of sailing with guidance, canoeing, supping or Expedition-like group games. This also makes the location very suitable for schools and team building: there is room for joint programs, and plenty of opportunities to be active on and around the Frisian Lakes. Around Nijhuizum you can enjoy some great cycling and walking, and places like Workum, Hindeloopen, Heeg and Sneek are close by for a day out.
