At this accommodation near Lelystad it is possible! This archaeological open-air museum makes its grounds exclusively available to small and large groups of nature lovers. Waking up in one of the reconstructed prehistoric houses, who wouldn't want that?
PLEASE NOTE: we are not a party location and sound carriers are not allowed due to the location in a nature reserve. Of course, you can have a beer by a campfire.
Group accommodation in Flevoland and really back to basics🔥
This is an archaeological open-air museum where a prehistoric settlement has been reconstructed. Sleeping is done on straw mattresses in a prehistoric house (unheated room). Guests must bring their own bedding (sleeping bag and pillow). There are several places on the site suitable for lighting a campfire. Wood is for sale at the location. There is a lake where you can swim or where you can try out a dugout canoe. There is a sanitary building with 2 toilets, 2 urinals and 1 shower (working on 50 cent tokens). There is also a dishwashing area
with a refrigerator, several sinks, coffee maker (incl. filters), pots and pans. A stove and a microwave / oven can be rented. For schools, prices are on request!
Take beautiful walks through the Nature Park🌳
The location is in Lelystad Nature Park, where you can walk and with luck, you can spot special animals. There are bison, prezwalski horses, otters and moose. The Oostvaardersplassen are within easy reach, as is the new Markerwadden nature reserve.
