Cycling, hiking, water sports, amusement parks (such as Slagharen, adventure zoo Emmen) or museums; from here, it is all easy to reach
The adjacent park, with pond, animal meadow, and playground also offers possibilities for play, sports, or a walk. A subtropical pool and play paradise is about 1.5 km away. All in all, it is the ideal stop between the north and central parts of the Netherlands. Very easily accessible with both your own as well as public transport (5 minutes walk from the station).
