Directly on the beautiful city park, you will find this friendly inn in Drenthe. A group accommodation that is ideal for family or friends reunions, schools, associations or company outings, meeting groups, etc. In the hostel section there is room for 57 guests, but together with the self-catering apartment (group accommodation MEP-767), you can stay here with 71 guests. But small(er) groups are also welcome. Exclusive rights are then not guaranteed).

Upon entering, you step directly into the recreation and bar area. This also has a sitting area with sofas and TV. Wifi is available. The (dining) room is ideal for meetings, as a meeting/workshop or music/singing room, but is also very regularly used as a banquet hall (book in advance). Here you look out on the front garden with terrace. The sleeping area is adjacent to a courtyard with garden furniture and play area for the children. This place is also very suitable for a BBQ, which is happy to be taken care of for you.

Please note, no self-catering is possible at this group accommodation in Drenthe! So there is no kitchen available for your own use. There can also be several groups here at the same time. You stay here on a bed and breakfast basis, but you can also go to the homeowners for other meals at a good and affordable price. So you don't have your own kitchen available. The bar serves soft and alcoholic drinks and a surprising assortment of Dutch and Belgian (Trappist and abbey) beers. This property is non-smoking and not suitable for groups that are very noisy late at night or at night. For small groups of up to 14 people, there is a fully furnished self-catering apartment (see group accommodation MEP-767). For example, if you are with 1 or 2 more people, it may also be possible to use the MEP-767 in consultation.

Giethoorn, just 15 km away, is also an excellent destination for a day of entertainment. Cycling, hiking, water sports, amusement parks (such as Slagharen, adventure zoo Emmen) or museums; From here it is all possible. The city center is within walking distance. The adjacent park, with pond, animal meadow and playground, also offers opportunities for games, sports or a walk.
