Group accommodation Meppel (MEP-505-1)

Directly at the beautiful city park, you will find this cozy inn in Drenthe. Ideal for family reunions or a reunion of friends, schools, associations, or company outings, meeting groups, etc. In the inn section, there is room for 57 guests, but together with the self-service apartment (group accommodation MEP-767), you can stay here with 71 guests. Small(er) groups are welcome too (exclusive right is not guaranteed). 

Have a drink together at the bar in your holiday home in Drenthe

Upon entering, you step directly into the recreation and bar area. This space also includes a lounge corner with sofas and a TV. Wi-Fi is available. The (dining) hall is perfect for gatherings, such as meetings, workshops, or music/singing sessions, and is also frequently used as a party room (advance reservation required). From here, you overlook the front garden with a terrace.

The sleeping area borders a small inner courtyard equipped with garden furniture and a play area for children. This space is also very suitable for a barbecue, which can gladly be arranged for your group.

Please note: At this group accommodation in Drenthe, self-catering is not possible! There is no kitchen available for private use. Additionally, multiple groups may be staying at the same time.

Your stay is based on bed and breakfast, but you can also enjoy other meals at a good price through the property owners. The bar serves soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, including a surprising selection of Dutch and Belgian (Trappist and Abbey) beers.

This accommodation is non-smoking and not suitable for groups that are very noisy in the evening or at night.

For smaller groups of up to 14 people, there is a fully equipped self-catering apartment available (see group accommodation MEP-767). If your group includes 1 or 2 additional people, it may also be possible to use MEP-767 in consultation.

You can fully enjoy the town of Meppel. National parks, the Weerribben, moors, ponds, forests, and rustic country roads and meadows full of storks. At just 15 km away, Giethoorn is an excellent destination for a day of entertainment as well. Cycling, hiking, water sports, amusement parks (such as Slagharen, adventure zoo Emmen), or museums; from here, everything is possible. The city center is within walking distance. The adjacent park, with pond, animal meadow, and playground offers possibilities for play, sport, or a walk.
