On the outskirts of Havelte lies this thatched group accommodation. A beautiful place to stay with your group of up to 26 people. What makes this group accommodation unique is that it is situated between three national parks: Dwingelerveld, Weerribben Wieden, and Drents Friese Wold. Additionally, Havelte itself boasts the beautiful Holtingerveld.
A group accommodation in Drenthe with a large playing field
The group accommodation consists of a spacious dining room with a kitchen area, where you can sit comfortably with the whole group and enjoy meals together. In addition, you have access to three (internal) apartments, each with a separate living room. There are several televisions as well as a large TV screen. Free Wi-Fi is available in the accommodation. In total, you have access to 10 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Everything is accessible from the central hall. Catering is also available through the owner, such as a welcome buffet. Around the farmhouse, there is plenty of space with terraces and a large playing field (2500m²), with play equipment for children, several go-karts, and many other activities such as Kubb or Klootschieten. There are four charging points for electric cars.
A day of boating in Giethoorn or exploring the surrounding national parks
The area has an incredible amount to offer. In Havelte itself lies the Holtingerveld, surrounded by beautiful forests, heathlands, and prehistoric burial mounds. It's perfect for hiking, cycling, or mountain biking. Bicycles or mountain bikes can be rented for groups through Bike Totaal in Havelte. For children (and adults), the climbing forest in Paaslo is highly recommended. For the little ones, the play farm De Drentse Koe is just a stone's throw away. Additionally, the immediate surroundings feature three national parks: Weerribben, Dwingelerveld, and Drents-Friese Wold. Golf enthusiasts will also be pleased, as Havelte has an 18-hole golf course. Other nearby attractions include visiting Meppel, Pitch and Putt/Footgolf in Koekange, or the fishing pond in Ruinerwold. In short, the ideal place to entertain yourself with both young and old!
