Welcome to France, where this beautiful estate is located. The 17th-century estate consists of a main house, barn, and two cottages for 4 and 6 people, accommodating a total of 34 people. In French, the houses have been given the feminine form 'La Maison', and this accommodation is no exception. From the property, you have a wide view of the French countryside as far as the eye can see, with views of the Pyrenees to the south. An ideal place to relax and enjoy in this peaceful environment and amidst nature.

Group accommodation in France with many play facilities

Staying in the main house, cottages, and barn is a unique experience as the house has retained most of its original features. However, with each generation of the family, the house has also been modernized in some respects. The open kitchen is equipped with all modern amenities such as a gas stove (also electric), refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven, and dishwasher. The main house has 7 bedrooms with double beds, one of which has sanitary facilities and one bedroom with a toilet. A shared bathroom with bathtub, shower, toilet, and sink is also on the first floor of the main house. The barn has 4 bedrooms with double beds, one of which has an additional double bunk bed. Here too, there is one bedroom with sanitary facilities, and on the ground floor, there is also a shared bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. The cottage is a former stable lovingly renovated for up to 6 guests. This accommodation also has a fully equipped kitchen. The 6-person cottage has 3 large bright bedrooms with double beds. Two bedrooms are located on the first floor and one on the ground floor with wheelchair access. The cottage has two bathrooms, one on the ground floor (wheelchair-friendly) and the second bathroom on the first floor. The 4-person cottage has two bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom with bathtub, shower, toilet, and sink. This accommodation also has a fully equipped private kitchen. On the terrace, you can enjoy being together and the surroundings, as well as a snack and a drink. The main house also has a barbecue. On the estate, there is a nice swimming pool (open from April to October), a play barn, and other play facilities for children. There is also a banquet hall connected to the barn, making it a perfect place for group dinners, parties, and events.

Relax in nature and admire the beautiful surroundings

The group accommodation is located on a fenced property of 4 hectares, surrounded by the French countryside. There are plenty of attractions to visit around Samadet. The accommodation is well located in the heart of Les Landes, with the Pyrenees 1.5 hours to the south and the Atlantic coast 1.5 hours to the west, both ideal for day trips. The area is also perfect for beautiful walks or bike rides. A popular attraction is the collegiate church of Saint-Barthélémy in Pimbo (about 13 km from the accommodation). The church is half castle, half place of worship, and behind the church is a beautiful botanical garden with stunning views of the Pyrenees, where guided tours are available if desired. There are also many local markets to visit, including those in Hagetmau and Geaune (both 10 minutes by car) and one in Aire-sur-l'Adour (25 minutes by car). At these markets, you can find fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, meats, and nice local products. The bakery and general store are a 10-minute walk away, or you may take the bike from the chateau through the quiet country lanes. Whether you want to relax, cycle a stage of the Tour de France, enjoy a meal at the local Michelin-starred restaurant in Eugenie-Les-Bains, or delve into local history, it's all possible in the surroundings of Samadet.
