In the middle of the beautiful Frisian landscape with its clear skies and beautiful views, surrounded by a large bird nature reserve with a view of the "Nat-dras" bird meadow lake, hidden between the trees is the hundred-year-old farm and group accommodation. A pleasant place for family groups of up to 16 people and a maximum of 2 babies (0 to 1 yrs) above. This group accommodation has won the 2nd prize in Friesland in the category "repurposing historical heritage".

The group accommodation is aimed at being together and yet there is something for everyone. The spacious kitchen is located directly and centrally on the child-safe terrace with barbecue from which a hidden path over the mound and the bridge leads to the large playing field with a goal, trampoline (from April 1 to October 1) and playground equipment. Next to the kitchen with freely adjustable tables and chairs is the open living room with sitting area, music system and TV. On the other side of the hallway is a recreation room with a sitting area, table, TV, all kinds of board games, Xbox and table football. Downstairs are 2 double bedrooms, one with shower and toilet and one with shower, whirlpool bath, sauna and toilet. Upstairs are 4 spacious double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with shower and toilet and 2 children's rooms with bunk beds. The children's rooms are each adjacent to a corner room and can also be used by adults. Outside you have a covered house with a luxury Cadac (gas) barbecue.

Together to the Frisian villages and towns

This group accommodation is centrally located in the Frisian "Greidegebied" (Greid means grassland on clay) and within cycling distance of the most beautiful Frisian villages and towns. In the village of Easterein is the well-known café-restaurant "Bergsma" with its unsurpassed cuisine and "old inn atmosphere". Walks, bike rides and a visit to the old towns including the planetarium in Franeker, the beach at Makkum and Harlingen, play forest Joure, the Kameleon village or a day by boat to the islands, everything is within reach.
