A large part of the city center dates from the period Delden received city rights. Many buildings have been professionally restored. The band is felt everywhere with Twickel Castle. Historical-historical monuments include the museums farm De Wendezoele, the Noordmolen, the Houtzaagmolen, the Salt Museum and the Oude and the RK Blasius Church. Delden also has many galleries and there are numerous events. For example, this year, the Historical Market, Musical Walk, the Cultural Street Festival and the nationally known Twente wheelchair celebrations are definitely worth a visit. But do not forget the Hemelvaartfiets4daagse, the midwinter walk and the Regional Market Twente on the first Saturday of the month.
The historic town of Delden has its appearance, history, beautiful buildings and beautiful streets for a city walk. Let yourself be tempted to participate in one of these walks held every Thursday during the summer months.
