Welcome to Meppen, a rustic village in Drenthe with beautiful thatched farms and a village green with ancient oak trees. This holiday home in Drenthe is located on the edge of the village and near the forest. You can enjoy the many nature reserves in the immediate vicinity from our accommodation either on foot or by bike. You will also find a lot to do in the sports and cultural areas of Meppen and the surrounding area.

The accommodation has a lounge with seating and dining areas. There is also a bar. There is an extra room for your group. Plenty of space! You have a large kitchen with all imaginable appliances and even a professional dishwasher. Catering is also possible. You have access to 12 bedrooms (see room layout). The outdoor area consists of a large sports and playing field with a volleyball net, table tennis table, and swings. We can arrange all sorts of activities for you. How about crown green bowling, or a fun scavenger hunt? There is also a bistro on site, separate from the accommodation.
Wander through the forests of Drenthe
The village of Meppen is bordered by the Mepperdennen forest with its natural fens; the Meeuwenveen and Twientiesveen. You will also find De Palms; a forest of juniper bushes with scenic historical value. This nature reserve, and the woods, are freely accessible for hikers and cyclists. Within walking distance of the property, there is an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, a miniature golf course, and a squash and bowling alley. Furthermore, there are several major attractions to visit in the area include the museum village Orvelte, Emmen Zoo, Hunebed (Dolmen) center in Borger. There is something for everyone in this beautiful part of the Drenthe province.
