Terkaple is a village in the municipality of The Friese Lakes in the province of Friesland. It has about 220 inhabitants.
The place thanks its name to the origin of a chapel. This chapel belonged to the church of Oldeboorn. Next to the church from 1845 there are a number of beautiful old farms and a characteristic pickup bridge that has been mechanized. Terkaple features a bungalow park, a private passport port, a café-restaurant, a primary school and a tennis court.
Terkaple is near Terkaplesterpoelen (Terkaplester Puollen) and forms a twin village with Akmarijp.
