Welcome to Samadet in France, where this beautiful estate is located. On the estate you rent the country house and the barn, which is suitable for 24 people. The 17th century estate consists of a manor house, barn and two cottages for 4 and 6 people (see other listings to book the estate in total or choose a different composition). In French, the houses have been given the feminine form 'La Maison' and this accommodation is no exception. From the property, you can look out over the French countryside as far as the eye can see, with views of the Pyrenees to the south. An ideal place to unwind and enjoy this peaceful environment and nature. Group accommodation in France with pool Staying in the manor house and barn is a unique experience, as the house has retained most of its original features. But, with each generation of the family, the house has also been modernized in some ways. The open kitchen is equipped with all modern amenities such as gas stove (also electric), refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher. The farmhouse has 7 bedrooms with double beds, one of which has sanitary facilities and one bedroom with toilet. A shared bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and sink is also on the first floor of the country house. The barn has 4 bedrooms with double beds, one of which has an extra double bunk bed. Here too is one bedroom with sanitary facilities and on the ground floor there is also a shared bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. On the terrace you can be together and enjoy the surroundings and a snack and a drink. The farmhouse also has a barbecue. On the estate there is a swimming pool (open from April to October), play barn and other play facilities (if there are other guests on the property, the facilities are shared with other guests. Exception is if the estate is booked in its entirety). Indulge in the French delicacies The property is situated on a 4-hectare fenced property, surrounded by the French countryside. There are plenty of places to visit around Samadet. The property is well located in the heart of Les Landes with the Pyrenees 1.5 hours to the south and the Atlantic coast 1.5 hours to the west, both ideal for day trips. The area is also perfect for a nice walk or bike ride. A popular landmark is Saint-Barthélémy Collegiate Church in Pimbo (about 13 km from the property). The church is half castle and half place of worship and behind the church is a beautiful botanical garden with a magnificent view of the Pyrenees, if desired it is possible to take a guided tour here. There are also many local markets to visit, including those in Hagetmau and Geaune (both 10 minutes' drive) and one in Aire-sur-l'Adour (25 minutes' drive). At these markets you can find fresh vegetables, fruit, cheeses and meat as well as nice local products. The boulangerie and general store are a 10 minute walk away or perhaps you can take the bike from the chateau through the quiet country lanes. Whether you want to relax, cycle a Tour-de-France route, grab a bite to eat at the local Michelin star restaurant in Eugenie-Les-Bains or delve into local history, it's all possible in the Samadet area.
